  27. So what?  Removeables are INFINITELY EXPANDABLE, fixed media drives arn't.

  29. For example, I currently have four SCSI devices on my system, one of them 
  30. is a Bernoulli 150 which I have six cartridges for.  The idea is I have 
  31. six drives that only take one SCSI ID.  When I need more drive space I can 
  32. simply buy another cart.  You can only do this so far with fixed media 
  33. drives, then you have to start factoring in the cost of additional SCSI 
  34. controllers, fooling with LUN's, filling up all your slots, etc.

  36. Its a matter of preference I suppose.  Removeables are not for everyone.
